From Isekai no Meta to Character Snapshots
The last DevLog ended with the untold beginning of Isekai no Meta: Remastered. Since then, the project has crossed the finish line — and a new way of developing future worlds has begun.
Isekai no Meta: Remastered — Theatrical Cut
The completed 19-minute Theatrical Cut premiered on YouTube on 12 August 2026. This version brings Ayumi Tanaka’s full remastered adventure together as one film, combining the finished sequences, revised material and final presentation in a tighter edit made for YouTube.
Ayumi still knows exactly what kind of story she has landed in: a generic isekai with a suspiciously visible script, production problems and a protagonist who keeps asking questions she was never meant to ask. The remaster gave me the chance to revisit the comedy, pacing and presentation as a complete movie rather than a set of separate episodes.

The film remains a solo Creative Bandit Studios production, written, produced and directed by Alex Howell over several months. It combines AI-assisted filmmaking and animation with 3D production, editing, synthetic performance, music and sound design. Full production credits are included in the film.
The longer Director’s Cut is still being edited. That edition will not be released on YouTube; the plan is to make it available through the Creative Bandit Studios website and FilmFreeway in the future.
Introducing Character Snapshots
With the remaster completed, I have also started a new short-form series: Character Snapshots. These are compact spotlights for original characters I create — a way to show their look, personality, abilities and story potential without pretending that every idea is already a full production.
Some may grow into future storylines. Others may remain intriguing visitors from worlds that only exist for a few minutes. The point is to experiment, build a wider library of characters and discover which ideas deserve a larger stage.
Snapshot #1: Thea Dēmiourgos
The first snapshot introduces Thea Dēmiourgos, a reincarnated creator whose magic, knowledge and curiosity begin transforming a low-fantasy Bronze Age world. Her visual story moves from reincarnation and village arrival through temple analysis, a furnace rupture, divine fabrication, the first iron, teaching and a major milestone.
Thea’s two-minute Character Snapshot is scheduled for 17 August 2026 on the Creative Bandit Studios YouTube channel. She is the first of the new spotlights, with more original characters and possible worlds to follow.
This feels like a useful next step for Creative Bandit Studios: finishing a larger project properly, then returning to the playful act of invention — one character, one world and one possible future at a time.
Destiny can still file a complaint.
